Martial Arts Paths

Paths are the progression schools behind each weapon family. The Arsenal system lists four paths at its core, General, Bellstrike, Stonesplit and Silk Binding, and each path branches into named schools that decide whether a weapon plays as damage, support or control.

Name Type Description Tree Prerequisite
General Path The unspecialized path listed alongside Bellstrike, Stonesplit and Silk Binding in the Arsenal progression. Arsenal - Paths Available from the start of the Arsenal progression
Bellstrike - Splendor Path (Bellstrike school) The offensive Bellstrike school, described as excelling at DPS melee play with high mobility and a single-target focus. Arsenal - Paths Trained through the Bellstrike branch of the Arsenal path system
Bellstrike - Umbra Path (Bellstrike school) The second Bellstrike school, built around opening wounds and letting enemies bleed while the player keeps repositioning. Arsenal - Paths Trained through the Bellstrike branch of the Arsenal path system
Stonesplit Path The heavy melee path, home to the Mo Blade family and skills such as the Thundercry Blade's Avalanche and Landslide. Arsenal - Paths Trained through the Arsenal path system
Silk Binding Path The ranged path, also written as Skillbind in-game. Arsenal - Paths Trained through the Arsenal path system
Bamboo Cut Path / school (Dual Blades) The school attached to the Infernal Twinblades, referenced by the community as Bamboo Cut with a Wind variant. Arsenal - Paths Trained through the Arsenal path system; the Flamelash skill itself is stolen from the master in Midnight Mercy Sanctum

Inner Ways

Inner Ways, also called Internal Arts, are the passive layer. Each is slotted to complement specific Martial Arts weapons and grades from Standard up to Epic, and upgrading them is treated by experienced players as the largest hidden damage increase in the game.

Name Type Description Tree Prerequisite
Echoes of Oblivion Inner Way (Pursuit / Debuff) A pursuit and debuff Inner Way tied to the Infernal Twinblades, timed around the weapon's Flamelash window. Inner Ways Inner Way unlocked and upgraded with materials from world content
Sword Morph Inner Way (Attack) An attack Inner Way that raises the output of sword Martial Arts. Inner Ways Inner Way unlocked and upgraded with materials from world content
Insightful Strike Inner Way (Epic, Attack) An Epic Internal Art that strongly synergizes with Bellstrike damage builds. Inner Ways Inner Way unlocked and upgraded with materials from world content
Esoteric Revival Inner Way (Support) A support Inner Way shared by the Panacea Fan and the Soulshade Umbrella under the Skillbind - Deluge school, which lets a healer build both weapons off a single set of passives. Inner Ways Inner Way unlocked and upgraded with materials from world content

Mystic Arts

Mystic Arts are the active techniques assigned to the mystic wheel, split into Offensive, General and Movement types. Most are not purchased: they are taken from named Jianghu masters through Skill Theft, or awarded for specific world quests, which is why unlocking them is a core exploration activity.
