Lies of P is a 2023 action role-playing soulslike developed by Round8 Studio and published by Neowiz. A dark Belle Époque reimagining of Carlo Collodi's The Adventures of Pinocchio, it casts the player as a puppet who must carve his way through the plague-ravaged, puppet-overrun city of Krat to become human. Combat centers on precise timed guards and perfect parries, a deep weapon assembly system that fuses any blade with any handle, powerful Fable Arts, and dedicated Legion Arm prosthetic weapons. Choices between truth and lies shape P's humanity and steer the story toward one of several distinct endings, and a major prequel expansion, Overture, was released on November 6, 2025.

• Pinocchio-Themed Soulslike: The player is a puppet crafted to look human, fighting through the twisted city of Krat that has been overrun by maddened puppets and a mysterious petrification disease, with the goal of becoming a real boy.
• Weapon Assembly: Any blade can be detached from its handle and combined with any other handle to forge unique weapons, letting players create hybrid movesets, scale damage off different stats, and adapt to any build.
• Guard and Perfect Guard: Blocking with the arm reduces damage, while a precisely timed Perfect Guard negates incoming damage, breaks enemy posture, and opens foes to fatal attacks, rewarding patient, deliberate combat.
• Legion Arms: Prosthetic weapons grafted to P's arm grant special abilities such as the Fulminis lightning projectile, Flamberge flame spray, Puppet String grapple, Falcon Eyes charge shot, Aegis shield, and Deus Ex Machina rocket barrage.
• Fable Arts: Weapons build Fable charges through combat that can be spent on powerful special moves, and P-Organ upgrades earned with Quartz flesh out P's stats, Legion, Fable, and Vitality talents.
• Truth and Lies: Throughout the story P may choose to tell lies or truths to the people of Krat, and these choices raise or lower his Humanity, steering the narrative toward distinct endings.
• Overture Expansion: The 2025 prequel DLC returns players to the days leading up to the main story, playing as Carlo on the eve of his fate, with new weapons, a new Legion Arm, additional enemies and locations in Krat, and expanded lore on the origins of the puppet uprising.
