Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered

Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered is the 2026 remaster of Pipeworks Software's 2002 GameCube arena brawler, updated and re-released by Konami with modern netcode, remastered cities, enhanced visuals, and the full roster of city-flattening kaiju. Up to four monsters battle across destructible urban arenas as each kaiju unleashes characteristic breath weapons, throws, and powerful special moves drawn from their film appearances. The game remains a pick-up-and-play 3D fighter built around health and the rage-driven special meter, now with online multiplayer on current-generation platforms and PC.

Key Systems

  • Four-Kaiju Arena Combat — Up to four monsters battle simultaneously in large destructible 3D city arenas, mixing close-quarters brawling with long-range breath weapons and ranged attacks.
  • Rage / Special Meter — Building and spending the special meter lets players unleash each kaiju's signature super attack, from Godzilla's atomic breath to King Ghidorah's gravity beams.
  • Destructible City Battlefields — Buildings can be smashed, thrown, and collapsed on foes, and arenas reshape as structures topple during the fight.
  • Full Kaiju Roster — Playable monsters include the iconic Godzilla, King Ghidorah, Mechagodzilla, Gigan, Rodan, Mothra, Anguirus, Baragon, Orga, Varan, Hedorah, and Megalon, each with unique stats, moves, and breath powers.
  • Character-Specific Movesets — Every kaiju has distinct light attacks, heavy strikes, throws, and specials that mirror their signature abilities from the films.
