Arknights: Endfield

Arknights: Endfield is a real-time 3D action role-playing game developed and published by Hypergryph (with Mountain Contour) and released worldwide on January 22, 2026 for Android, iOS, PlayStation 5, and Windows. A spin-off of the acclaimed tower defense title Arknights (2019), it reworks the formula into a semi-open world squad action RPG where players command a four-operator team that can be switched between in real time. Against a cyberpunk sci-fi industrial backdrop on the barren frontier moon Talos-II, the player plays as the Endministrator of Endfield Industries, exploring ruins, fighting hostile factions, and overseeing a deep base-building and factory simulation system. The game blends fast action combat with strategic element-based reactions, a combo skill system, and gacha-driven operator and weapon collection.

Key Systems

  • Four-Operator Squad Combat - Players field a team of up to four unique Operators and switch between them in real time during battle, each with their own Basic Attack, Battle Skill, Combo Skill, and Ultimate.
  • Combo Skill System - The core combat mechanic, where consecutive basic attack sequences (normal, drop, final, and execution/finisher attacks) build toward powerful combo and ultimate abilities.
  • Element & Reaction System - Combat revolves around elemental damage types (Physical, Cryo, Heat, Electric, Nature) and Physical/Arts statuses such as Vulnerable, Combustion, Electrification, and Solidification, which interact to trigger reaction effects.
  • Factory Simulation Base-Building - A Factorio-style construction and management layer requiring players to budget and route electricity, assign input and output logistics, and manage multiple ore types across foundries and production lines.
  • Six Profession Classes - Each Operator belongs to one of six classes (Guard, Caster, Striker, Vanguard, Defender, Supporter) that defines their combat role, preferred weapon type, and attribute focus.
  • Headhunting Gacha System - New Operators and Weapons are obtained through Headhunting (banner pulls) with distinct rates and pity guarantees for 6-star, 5-star, 4-star, and 3-star rarity.
