The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered is a 2025 action role-playing game co-developed by Virtuos and Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. A remaster of the 2006 classic, it delivers a full graphics overhaul built on Unreal Engine 5 with ray tracing, modern textures and models, revised AI, updated animation, redesigned UI, and enhanced audio, while retaining the original's Gamebryo core for physics and combat. It includes all the original downloadable content including the Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles expansions. Released digitally for PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S on April 22, 2025, it received generally positive reviews, won Best Remake / Remaster at the 2025 Golden Joystick Awards, reached 4 million players within three days, and was later released physically (October 13) and on Nintendo Switch 2 (August 11, 2026).
