Resident Evil Requiem is a 2026 survival horror game developed and published by Capcom, the ninth mainline entry in the Resident Evil series following Resident Evil Village (2021). Directed by Kōshi Nakanishi and produced by Masato Kumazawa under Masachika Kawata, it is built on the RE Engine. Set in October 2026, 28 years after the Raccoon City Destruction Incident, it follows FBI intelligence analyst Grace Ashcroft as she investigates a series of mysterious deaths among Raccoon City survivors, alongside returning DSO agent Leon S. Kennedy. The game famously offers a switchable first- and third-person viewpoint that pairs Grace's stealth-leaning, resource-starved survival horror with Leon's action-focused shooting, linked through a return to the ruined city and a shadowy conspiracy involving The Connections and the former Umbrella researcher Dr. Victor Gideon.
