Palworld

Palworld is an open-world survival and monster-taming action RPG developed and published by Japanese studio Pocketpair. Set on the sprawling Palpagos Islands, players build bases, gather resources, and battle and capture hundreds of animal-like creatures called Pals, which can fight alongside them, serve as mounts, work in factories, or be put to labor in bases. Full 1.0 release arrived on July 10, 2026 after two years in early access, adding new islands, mechanics, and Pals across PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox, and Game Pass. The game blends survival crafting and creature collecting with firearms and automation, earning it the nickname 'Pokemon with guns', set against five faction-led tower bosses.

• Pal Capturing and Breeding — Weaken wild Pals in combat and catch them with Pal Spheres, then breed pairs at a breeding farm to create stronger offspring that inherit parent traits.
• Base Building and Automation — Assign Pals to bases where they perform tasks like mining, woodcutting, cooking, crafting, and powering production, driven by 12 Work Suitability traits.
• Partner Skills and Riding — Each of the 287 Pals has a unique Partner Skill, many acting as weapons, mounts, gliders, or traversal tools such as swimming and flying when ridden.
• Survival and Crafting — Manage hunger and stamina, gather materials, and unlock over a thousand items, weapons, and structures through a Technology tree.
• Faction Tower Bosses — Five hostile factions (Rayne Syndicate, Free Pal Alliance, Brothers of the Eternal Pyre, Palpagos Islands Defense Force, and Pal Genetic Research Unit) each led by a Pal trainer in a tower that serves as a major boss battle.
• Wanted Level System — Committing crimes against humans raises a wanted level that summons defense force troopers to hunt the player until they are killed or evade pursuit.
