Crimson Desert

Crimson Desert is a 2026 open-world action-adventure game developed and published by Pearl Abyss (creators of Black Desert Online). Players control Kliff, leader of the Greymanes mercenary company, as they traverse the war-torn continent of Pywel. The game features dynamic, cinematic combat with swords, shields, bows, magic, and firearms — built on Pearl Abyss' proprietary BlackSpace Engine. It emphasizes a single-player narrative-driven campaign in a realistic medieval fantasy setting, with seamless open-world exploration, horseback combat, fishing, cooking, crafting, hunting, and large-scale boss encounters including dragons. Originally conceived as a prequel to Black Desert Online, it evolved into a standalone title released for PS5, Windows, Xbox Series X/S, and macOS.
