It casts the player as Soul, an elite assassin of the top-tier assassin organization known as The Order, who is framed for a murder he did not commit and left cursed to die. Wielding a distinctive kung fu punk aesthetic, the game fuses classical Chinese martial arts, dark-fantasy lore, and steampunk machinery into a living, ancient-China-inspired world.
