Combo
Chain 3+ to build combo. Consecutive long chains increase the multiplier.
Features
- 6x6 grid filled with random numbers 1-9
- Draw chains through adjacent cells (orthogonal and diagonal) with strictly ascending numbers
- Chain scoring: length squared, multiplied by combo bonus
- Combo system: consecutive chains of 3+ build a multiplier up to x5
- Gravity physics: used cells disappear, remaining cells drop down, new numbers fill from top
- Two game modes: Timed (90 seconds) and Zen (no timer, ends when no valid chains exist)
- Drag-to-connect path drawing with mouse or touch
- Visual chain trail with connecting lines and highlighted cells
- Live chain preview showing potential score before releasing
- Distinct background color per number value for easy scanning
- Score popups, combo bar indicator, and best chain tracking
- Best score saved per mode in local storage
- Responsive design that works on both desktop and mobile
How to Use
- Select a game mode: Timed (90-second countdown) or Zen (play until no chains remain).
- Click and drag (or touch and drag on mobile) across adjacent cells to form a chain of ascending numbers (e.g., 1 → 2 → 3 → 4).
- Cells can connect in any direction: up, down, left, right, or diagonally.
- The chain preview at the top shows your current chain and its potential score before you release.
- Release to submit the chain. Chains must have at least 2 numbers.
- Scoring: chain length squared, multiplied by your current combo multiplier.
- Build combos by making consecutive chains of 3 or more links. The multiplier resets if you make a short chain.
- After a chain is submitted, used cells disappear, remaining cells drop down with gravity, and new numbers fill in from the top.
- Your best score per mode is saved automatically.
